Some
History and the Design The two-lane bridge was built in 1959. It was closed for demolition and
replacement on September 11, 2008.
There was a lot of preparation before this rerouting piping and wires
from the bridge. Here is an artist’s rendering
of the bridge from the Department
of Transport, Wisconsin. It is a
very nice design. Updates on
